I have been in the aquarium hobby over 50 years with some of my first fish being natives
minnows collected from a creek near where I grew up in Illinois. I presently keep 30 tanks going
of native and tropical fish. Over the years I have collected and kept native species from 14
different states. I also have a 1000 gallon outdoor pond and various tubs for keeping my fish
outdoors through the summer and autumn. I am a member of the North American Native Fish
Association, American Killifish Association, and Circle City aquarium Club.
