From time to time, CCAC members are looking to sell fish, either fish they have personally bred or fish that they want to re-home. Facebook does not permit the buying or selling of live animals, which prevents our club from hosting member-to-member sales on our Facebook page. To support our local hobbyists, the CCAC Aquarium Club provides a free Band.us page where members can post fish, plants, and aquarium‐related items for direct sale or trade.
Our Band page is open to all hobbyists, and it serves as the club’s official space for buying and selling. All listings, photos, and communications take place there. Our Band may also be used by other regional clubs to advertise events that may be of interest to our members.

Band Buy & Sell Rules
To keep the community safe, fair, and focused on the hobby, all users must follow these guidelines:
-
Direct sales only — no auctions, no links, no social media. Listings must include a clear price or trade offer.
-
Hobby-related items only. Posts must be limited to live fish, plants, invertebrates, or aquarium equipment and supplies.
-
The club does not endorse or guarantee any seller. All transactions are strictly between the buyer and seller — buyer beware.
-
Admins may remove any post or seller at their discretion. This includes rule violations or concerns about safety, behavior, or accuracy of listings.
-
Be respectful and honest. Clear communication helps keep the community enjoyable for everyone.
Tips for Sellers
To improve your chances of making successful sales, please consider the following:
-
Provide clear, up-to-date pictures of the actual fish or items you’re selling.
-
Include accurate pricing for each item, along with any quantity discounts.
-
State your payment terms, such as cash, electronic payments, or deposits for holds.
-
List your approximate location (city or area) to help buyers plan pickup or meeting arrangements.
-
Give any relevant details, such as size, age, temperament, or special care requirements.
These simple steps help buyers make informed decisions and lead to smoother, faster transactions.
